QuicKART 2000 Standard Specification
The
QuicKART
2000/2500 is a powerful, highly maneuverable, electric power assist machine. The
QuicKART 2000 is
capable of generating 759 inch pounds of torque allowing it to safely and easily
move a wheeled load of over 7,000 lbs. The QuicKART
2500 can generate 1,330 inch-pounds of torque allowing it to move a wheeled load
of well over 10,000 lbs.
The unique remote control application allows the operator to steer the load from
the front, while commanding the machine to operate from the back. This process
allows a single operator to move a heavy load while safely steering from the
front.. The QuicKART
2000/2500 will operate continuously for up to 12 hours on a single charge. Its
on board 16-amp battery charger can be plugged into any 110-volt outlet or be
adjusted to match the variable voltage requirements of international locations.
Safety Features
The automatic parking brake engages whenever the machine stops, ensuring safe
operation on slopes. The operating panel contains the on-off switch, battery
charge status lights, an emergency stop button and forward/reverse switch. The
twist grip controls the speed from 0-3.3 mph in forward and 0-1.5 mph in
reverse. The remote control has 2 speed settings, an emergency stop and a
warning horn to increase safety. A red brake light and yellow warning light are
mounted to a beacon tower in an elevated position to maximize visibility.
Benefits
Our clients typically report a 50% productivity increase. The QuicKART
also reduces risk of injury and employee turnover. Another benefit is the faster
recycle time of carts, allowing you to reduce cart inventory. Add it all up and
the QuicKART adds
significant value to your bottom line.

Dane Industries specializes in creating and delivering solutions that help
create a safe work environment and increase productivity. The QuicKART
shopping cart retrieval system dramatically reduces the cost related to labor
hours, injuries and parking lot accidents. Using our proprietary remote control
technology, a single employee can safely and efficiently retrieve up to 30-40
carts at a time.
Labor
Costs: Store managers typically report that the QuicKART
cuts labor hours in the parking lot by 50%. That translates into an
average of 30-100 hours per week. At just 40 hours saved at a $7.00/hr,
your labor cost for retrieving carts is reduced by $14,560 a year. Use
the QuicKART savings
calculator to compute your yearly savings!
|
|
|
Injuries: Shopping carts weigh between 40
lbs. and 70 lbs. The strain of pushing eight carts up a slope can cause a
significant risk of injury. Check out the QuicKART
Ergo Calculator and calculate the amount of carts employees can push without
potential strain or injury. The QuicKART
makes your workplace safer for your employees – and that is a sound
business decision. Even minor wrist and shoulder injuries can cost the employer
thousands of dollars. A workplace back injury can easily cost over $10,000.
Accident Reduction: One major client reported a 25% reduction
in parking lot incidents. Why? Review the many safety benefits and features.
Labor Pool: Because of the force required to push even a small
number of carts, retailers have historically filled the cart collection
positions with younger, stronger employees, an increasingly scarce labor pool.
The QuicKART eliminates the
strenuous physical demands of the job, allowing our clients to broaden their
potential labor pool. Clients also report reduced employee turnover. Manual cart
collection turnover ranges between 300-400%; our clients have reported a 25%
reduction in turnover.
Return on Investment: Add it all up and the ROI ranges from
200-300%! Real numbers that drop right to your bottom line. In an industry that
operates on low margins, every $ saved is the equivalent of generating
significant increases in new sales. By generating just $25,000 of net savings
per store per year, the QuicKART
adds to bottom line shareholder value every year. Those results typically result
in a 10-12% increase in earnings per share. That¡¯s a very significant return
for making a difficult, manual labor task safer and more productive. Let us
prove it! Contact us to arrange a free thirty-day trial and begin receiving the
benefits of a safer and more productive workplace.
